Three pubs in Cardiff have been acclaimed for the quality of their toilets, the South Wales Echo reports today.
The Ernest Willows on City Road and The Aneurin Bevan on Caerphilly Road were awarded five-star ratings in the Loo of the Year awards 2011, while The Great Western on St Mary Street was awarded a four-star rating.
All three award winners are Wetherspoon drinking holes, showing as well as a great selection of ales, they offer a top notch toilet.
The toilets are judged on decor and maintenance, cleanliness, accessible facilities, hygiene equipment, overall management and customer care.
So, if visiting pub toilets is your kind of thing (here at Cardiff Drinks we don’t judge), then make a date with one of these establishments.
Two or three pints should do the trick and have you visiting the award-winning facilities without any eyebrows being raised about your rush to see the much-lauded lavs.
Mine’s a pint (of toilet duck).
