Cocktail master comes to Cardiff

The South Wales Echo reports today that “celebrity mixologist Wayne Collins will be in Cardiff this week to pass his skills on to hotel staff”.

Collins, who is a regular on BBC show Something for the Weekend, will be training staff from three hotels in the city owned by hotel group Rezidor in the art of cocktail making. He will be at The Park Inn, on Mary Ann Street, on Wednesday where he will be showing 20 members of staff how to get the balance right when it comes to making cocktails.

Jo Everleigh, sales and marketing manager at the Park Inn City Centre, told the Echo: “I cannot believe how lucky we are to have someone of Wayne’s calibre coming to the hotel. What a fantastic way to launch our new cocktail menu.”

So post-celebrity mixologist training their cocktails should be tip-top! Mine’s a pint (of mojito).
